Successfully conducted 7 pilot training courses on media literacy

Teaching Material Pack (TMP) dedicated to Media Literacy Education, which was created within the framework of the Transcontinental MEDIActive Youth: Africa on Board Project, has been successfully tested through 7 pilot training courses.

Each of the 7 partner NGOs organized a two-day long pilot training course during which they educated a total of over 90 young activists (18-30 years old) from their local communities. In this way, the young participants gained important knowledge in news literacy, learned how to recognize fake news, and acquired the skills to write high-quality activist articles. At the same time, they were encouraged to contribute to the Transnational Youth Magazine (TYM, https://tymagazine.net) – an e-magazine focused on youth policy, youth activism, and the promotion of democratic values!

Through a small photo album, we share a glimpse of the fantastic atmosphere from our pilot trainings.
